A very picturesque place in Budapest is Margaret Island. The island is inside to Danube. There is Margaret Bridge which unites the island with the city and the access is very easy by tram or by boat as island constitutes a stop for the cruises that cross the river. The best way to explore the island is by bike. Alternatively you can walk. Over the island you can find many interesting things to do. The native people spend their Sundays here and have their pick nick as they enjoy the cooling shadow of the trees. Do not hesitate to visit this island.

A very interesting area which is located very close to the city center is the Varosliget Park. The entrance of the park is from the impressive Hosok Square which is one of the most beautiful squares in the city. At the center of the square overrule the Millennium Memorial and around two beautiful buildings, the Museum Of Fine Arts and the Palace of Art. Varosliget Park offers to its visitor many alternative things to do. For example there is a very picturesque lake that visitors have the possibility to explore by renting a boat. Szechenyi baths is also situated at the park. Besides the most impressive attraction is the Vajdahunyad castle which is a castle that combines Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance style. After all if young children with you do not miss the chance for a visit to the zoo. Great variety of animals will make your children happy.

The heart of the city and the most famous street in Budapest is Vaci Utca Street. This street night and day is full of people who enjoy their walk at the most commercial place of the city. In that street visitors could find a place to eat or to enjoy their drink. At the end of the Vaci Utca Street is the Great Market Hall (Nagycsarnok) which is the largest market in Budapest. In this place the visitor comes very close with the Hungarian culture and cuisine. Here you can find many local products such as sausages, salamis,
paprika and cheeses. You could also find river fishes that Danube offers. Try the national tastes in one of the many kiosks that serve Goulash, Paprikas, Langos, soups and other Hungarian foods. At the Great Market Hall you will find the most economy souvenirs in the city.  

The most impressive bus in Budapest is the amphibious coach which offers the possibility to enjoy the sights from both land and water. It is really funny and especially if you have young children they will be surprised. The amphibious coach starts its route from Szechenyi square. From April to October there are the following departures: 10.00, 12.00, 15.00, and 17.00 and from November to March: 11.00, 13.00 and 15.00. Book your ticket at the amphibious coach here and enjoy a marvelous tour. Children under six years old join for free.

At the end the most picturesque part of the city is Citadella which means fortress and took its name from the fortress that Julius
Jacob Von Haynau built in 1851 at this area. It is situated on a hill above the Budapest in order to carry panoramic vision of the city. From this place visitors have the possibility to take the most impressive photos of the city and also to admire Budapest as they enjoy their drinks in one of many kiosks that are situated outside the fortress.
